Jack rolls over in Dare Devil Feature

After a week off for rain the JWR team was ready to get back out on the track. A couple weeks of rest proved to be just what the Dr ordered for young Jack as he was running some of the fastest lap times of his life in practice.
Jack looked really good out on the track and said the car felt great. He couldn't wait to get out and race.
Jack started in the 4th spot, single file and took 3rd right away. Following behind the 2nd place driver for about 5 laps he was looking to make a move when the pack came up on lapped traffic. Coming out of turn four the # 8 and # 7 made contact just in front of Jack. The 8 tried to gather it up all the way down the front stretch but shot from the high side down to the bottom right into Jack just before turn 1.
The hit happened in just the right way to cause the 95J of Jack Walker to get airborne in a single motion, bouncing to the infield and rolling over not once, but twice before landing on it's wheels.
Luckily the safety equipment installed in Jack's car did what it was supposed to do and held him in place leaving Jack to exit the car without a scratch.
Though Jack would walk away without a scratch the car did not fare so well. After being towed back to the trailer the crew, and many members of neighboring crews, worked tirelessly to get the car back into the trailer for the long ride home. It was not an easy job as the rear brakes were locked on, and the front wheels were practically knocked off. Much pushing and pulling, stopping and starting, and make shift supports were needed to muscle the car into the trailer, only to have to do the same once it arrived back at the shop!
The crew is actively working to determine if the car itself is salvageable. Time will tell!!!
